I'll have a new painting in the second exhibit at Real Tinsel, a new gallery here in Milwaukee, at 1013 West Historic Mitchell Street. The show is curated by Scott Zieher. The show runs from June 15th through August 18th. The theme is based on the 4th century play by Aristophanes called The Assemblywomen. The title comes from a word in the play (one of the longest words in history), which describes a elaborate feast promised to citizens who agree to commonly share their belongings. That only scratches the surface of a strange, often controversial play. I hope the same for the art!
